As you have probably already heard, Reno lost one of its brightest faces last night.
Erica Grief was a lot of things here at Reno Bike Project. She was an all-star volunteer, an unstoppable contender at gold sprints, a cyclocross race coordinator, and one hell of an athlete. Above all of those things, she was a friend. Every one here at RBP knew Erica as an energetic, kinetic personality. She was quick to laugh, fast to joke, and always ready to lend a helping hand. It’s with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our friend. Our thoughts will be with her family and fiancé.
There will be a memorial for Erica starting at 8pm tonight, 4/9, leaving from the Bibo on California and Sierra. There will be a short ride followed by a candle light vigil. Bring a candle for yourself and some to share.
