Sunday, October 20th
Reno Bike Project is partnering with Reno Burrito Project to distribute burritos via bicycle to folks in the Reno community who need them!
Reno Burrito Project is a Reno-based nonprofit that was created with the intention of feeding and connecting with the houseless population of Reno. They typically roll and distribute burritos by foot, but they are hoping to expand their reach by bringing in bicycles!
If you want to help out, make friends, and ride your bike around Reno, meet RBP & RBP at the Center of Influence at 1095 E Taylor St on Sunday, October 20th. We will be rolling burritos inside from 12-2 pm, and will begin loading up bikes with burritos at 2 pm. Bring your bike, personal water and layers, and a basket or backpack to carry burritos with!
Everyone who volunteers will receive a Reno Bike Project punch card with 10 free half-hours of public workstation time! Reach out to [email protected] for more info. We hope to see you there!
Wednesday, October 23rd
Every year, 4 local bartenders host a charity event where they select a bar, create a fun cocktail menu, and donate 20% of their proceeds to a selected charity. This year they have chosen to donate their proceeds to Reno Bike Project!
The event will be held at Atlas Landing (772 S Virginia St, Reno) on October 23rd from 4 pm until the bartenders decide to stop serving. There will be a custom cocktail menu, a 50/50 raffle with rare bottles & spirits, and merch that will be given out throughout the night! 20% of all sales will go to Reno Bike Project, so tell your friends and stop by Atlas Landing to buy some delicious beverages!

Tuesday, November 12th
Reno Bike Project wants to celebrate our amazing volunteers by hosting a bike film festival at the Holland Project on November 12th! If you've volunteered with RBP (whether it was for 2 hours or you come into the shop every day), please stop by and celebrate with us!
Our goal is to compile about 2-hours worth of bike films to watch on a projector screen as we all eat food, drink beers and soda waters, and hang out. If you'd like to submit a film (whether it's professionally produced or self-made), please send it to Katie at [email protected] and she can vet it and add it to the compilation. Feel free to share this invite with your Reno Bike Project supporters! We hope to see you there!
