Saw this idea for mounting a bell at Igleheart Cycles booth at NAHBS on his Trail Poacher. He used a water bottle boss rivnut in his custom steel stem to mount a Crane bell. My stem is aluminum and has thicker walls so I was able to just drill it and tap it. Great trick for bikes with drop bars or no good place to clamp a bell. We’ve got Crane bells at the shop if you’re interested.
