Artist Austin Baker came back to town this last weekend to finish the installation of the “4-Cycle Hitch” bike rack in front of City Hall. This was the first of five racks that we will be installing, all from different artists. It was a lot of hard work and early early mornings but the bike rack is awesome and convenient right near the 1st Street entrance. Within hours there were two bikes locked to it, which just goes to show how needed it was. Please go check it out some time and let us know what you think. Thanks to the Nevada Arts Council and Reno Public Arts Commission for funding this great project. Out Kyle

I commend the Reno Bike Project on the rack. I wish you much success. The construction of bicycle racks is commendable. The foundation has been set to greater things. As cyclist we all must come together. Collectively we must address the need for more bike lanes. The building of more roads for cars is not the answer. The answer is for more bike lanes. Instead of seeing a two way road, I want to see one lane exclusively for cyclists and the other lane for cars.
