Traveling by bicycle is the ideal way for residents to experience their neighborhood and support local businesses. Nationally, recognition is building that “bicycling means business” and a 2012 report from Advocacy Advance demonstrates that cyclists spend less per visit, but frequent local businesses more often and actually spend more over the same period of time as their driving counterparts. Reno Bike Project partners with local business through our Business Membership program to encourage business to those supporting the mission of the Reno Bike Project in expanding bicycling community and culture. We signal boost new Business Members through each of our media outlets, as well as providing recognition on our website year round and in our annual report. Business members receive certificates and stickers to display on site as a Bike Friendly Business. A Business Membership includes five Velo Membership cards for owners and staff with unlimited access to our public workstations and member workshops for $500/year! Please contact [email protected] if you are interested in purchasing a membership for your business or nonprofit.
