Our Programs
Outside of our community bike shop, RBP engages people that allow us to bring the message of the bicycle to the people; to engage, educate and empower them to be the change they want to see in the world.
Major Taylor Ride Club
The Major Taylor Program is a bicycle riding and commuting education course available for youth in the Truckee Meadows.
FutureCycle
The mission of the FutureCycle Program is to use the Reno Bike Project as a setting to teach at-risk youth the skills needed for a lifetime of employment.
Biggest Little Commuter Program
The Biggest Little Commuter Program (BLCP) was established in 2013 to address transportation challenges faced by adults working to beat poverty.
FreeWheels 4 Kids
RBP believes that every kid who wants to ride a bike should be able to, and we strive to make that happen. Every year, RBP gives out over 300 bicycles to kids in the Reno area who would not have access to them otherwise. We host a couple of volunteer events before the holiday season, where an incredible number of volunteers spend their Saturdays fixing up kids bikes and giving back to their community!
