Bike Donations

RBP runs on community involvement. Used bikes that are donated may be parted out, refurbished, sold as is, earmarked for our Bicycle Repair Class (and subsequently for the Biggest Little Commuter Program), or used for the Freewheels 4 Kids programs. Whatever it is, your donation goes back into the community!

Bikes, Bike Parts, Tools, & Accessories

We will take any bikes or bike parts in any condition. We also accept accessories in good condition (helmets, bike pumps, lights, locks, racks, baskets, etc.) and gently used cycling clothes/shoes. Donations are accepted during open hours.

We greatly appreciate any and all tool donations; however bike-specific tools and metric tools are the most utilized in the shop. Tools donations can be dropped off at the shop during open hours.

If we receive any donations beyond repair, we make sure to recycle them properly. So don't be hesitant to donate any and all bike-related things!

Donation Guidelines

Please don't leave your donations outside the shop when we are closed. We want to make sure that your bike goes to good use, but we cannot ensure its safety if you don't see it enter our shop doors.

RBP cannot offer donation pick-ups at this time. Though we appreciate your desire to help us, we do not have the capacity or human-power to pick up any donations.

If you are planning to make a donation of 6 or more bicycles, please give us a call! We will most likely direct you to our 4th St. location.

If you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected].
