Position Title: Executive Director
Overview:
Reno Bike Project (RBP) is seeking a passionate and dynamic leader to serve as our next Executive Director. This full-time, exempt position offers the opportunity to lead a thriving nonprofit dedicated to making cycling accessible and sustainable in the Truckee Meadows. The Executive Director will oversee programs, fundraising, and community engagement while managing a dedicated team and shaping the future of RBP. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee program development, staffing, and administration.
- Manage budgeting and finance, ensuring adequate funding for organizational operations.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff and volunteers in collaboration with management.
- Communicate effectively with the Board of Directors, funders, and the community.
- Advocate for children, families, and the communities served by RBP.
- Serve as a spokesperson for the organization and excel in networking and fundraising efforts.
- Maintain positive relationships with government officials and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required (e.g., Nonprofit Management, Business Administration); relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Strong financial and budgeting skills.
- Ability to envision and implement program growth strategies.
- Direct experience leading and managing a dedicated staff.
- Capacity to engage with and earn the trust of community members.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $80,000–$120,000 annually, depending on experience.

Schedule:
This is a full-time, exempt position that generally follows standard weekday hours, with evening and weekend work as needed.

Position Title: Shop Manager
Overview:
Oversee daily shop operations, manage staff and volunteers, and ensure high-quality bike repairs and builds. This role combines hands-on mechanics, customer service, and leadership to support a thriving cycling community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate the bike shop, ensuring efficient repairs and bike builds.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace.
- Provide excellent customer service and support community members in DIY repairs.
- Oversee shop staffing, scheduling, and volunteer coordination.
- Track sales, inventory, and payroll hours.

Position Title: Mechanic Educator
(Full-Time & Part-Time Available)
Overview:
Teach bike maintenance, perform repairs, and help create a more bike-friendly community. This role combines hands-on mechanics with customer education and service.
