Human Playa Vehicle Donations
Don't need your bike after the Burn? Donate it back to RBP!
Reno Bike Project takes any and all bikes or bike-related donations! If you purchased a bike with us for the Burn (or if you bought it somewhere else and don't need it anymore) you can donate it back to us! We are a non-profit community bike shop, so all donations are tax-deductible (ask for a donation receipt at the register). We will begin taking donations as soon as our Pop-Up Event is finished (Tuesday, August 26th). We prefer to receive Burning Man bike donations at 635 E 4th St. Please see the following details for donation drop-off information:
Our 4th St. shop (635 E 4th St) will be open normal shop hours (T, W, S 10 to 5; Th & F 10 to 6) for donations. We will also be open at this location on Sunday, August 31st and Monday, September 1st from 12 - 2 pm. If the door is locked when you arrive, call the number listed on the door sign.
Our Grove St. shop (216 E Grove St) is open normal shop hours (see above) starting on Tuesday, August 26th. We will accept donations here, but prefer Burning Man bikes to be donated at our 4th St. location (otherwise we need to drive them over there ourselves).
The airport is taking bike donations at any time from August 24th to September 1st.
We do not purchase bikes back from you. All bikes brought back to RBP are assumed to be donations.
