Reno Bike Project in partnership with The League of American Bicyclists are hosting a League Cycling Instructor Course July 16-18, 2021.
Applicants to the seminar are adults that are strong cyclists, safety focused, and have a strong knowledge base of bicycle maintenance. Registration for this seminar is focused on people who identify as Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Color (BIPOC).
League Cycling Instructors are professionals that advocate for responsible biking and cyclist safety in their communities.
The process to enroll and be successful in the seminar are:
- Complete a pre-registration form here and then the full registration that will be emailed to you.
- Complete the online portion of the training at https://learn.bikeleague.org/ and complete the on-bike portion with a registered LCI. Find LCI’s in your area here: https://www.bikeleague.org/bfa/search/map/Nevada?bfaq=Nevada
- Complete the in-person seminar in June.
Scholarships are available for the entire cost of the seminar and are allocated for persons of color and racially marginalized communities.
