Reno Bike Project (RBP) is a non-profit community bicycle shop and resource for the Truckee Meadows committed to creating a nationally recognized, cycling-friendly community through education, cooperation and advocacy.
We want to invite you out to roll up your sleeves, put on a red and white polka-dot doo-rag and come out to Women with Wrenches!

PosterWeb_v2Weekly Women’s Bike Night starts Tuedsay November 6th @ 7:00 PM. We’ll have workshops on everything from how to change a tire to how to build a bike at this bike night for women only. We will also be doing volunteer work for the Reno Bike Project including shop maintenance, bike repairs, and other community events.

This is your chance to learn from experienced women mechanics and ask any questions you want, as well as to meet other women in the Reno area who are interested in cycling and bikes.

Even if you don’t have a bike you’re welcome to come and help out, donate a bike, buy a bike, build a bike and meet other women!

If you can’t make it on Tuesdays, regular volunteer night is every Thursday and you are always welcome.

Hope to see you on November the 6th!

-The Ladies of RBP

note: do-rags optional…

Do we need to bring our bikes to learn how to change a tire or do we learn by changing tires on bikes that need it there.
I know it sounds dumb but I had to ask.

Either way. But the best way to get to the shop is to RIDE!!!

Woooo Hoooooo!

Will there be food/beverages? Should we all bring something to share?

November 6, 2007

I will grab some non-alcoholic beverages and maybe some snack food.
Feel free to bring anything you like, except booze.
Also, we are thinking of going to Trivia at the Tap Room after, around 9 pm.

See you there!

Bring your bike or you can use one of our bikes. Lots of people bring bikes, others just work on shop bikes.

you shouldn’t promise “new custom bicycles” when you donate a bike to charity. I won a raffle, and you just gave me a piece of junk with a little digital mileage recorder. Thanks for nothing.

I’m sorry to hear this Brain. I don’t know to what charity you refer nor which bicycle, however as a volunteer run organization we really do mean to do good. In addition, we don’t like to see upset patrons. So, if you give us a little more info, or come down to the shop and talk to us about it we would love to do our best to make amends. Thanks Kyle

Hi – I was just wondering if you are still doing Lady’s Night on Tuesdays, as most of the posts are from 2007. I hope so – would love to participate! Thanks

Is woman’s night happening this Tuesday, Aug. 5th at 7pm? I’m new to town and interested in learning to fix my own bike.

Where can I find out more about your six (6) week bicycle repair course. How much?

Thanks,
Bob
