Bikes for Tykes

Put a little extra holiday cheer out into the world and our community, and join us at one of two volunteer wrenching parties on December 2 or December 9 from 11-3!

Reno Bike Project’s Freewheels for Kids outreach program provides free bikes to kids in need during the holiday season. Children’s bikes, donated by community members, are repaired, tuned up, and spruced up by RBP volunteers. Those bikes are then donated to community organizations who distribute the bikes to families in need.

Join us to work on bikes for the tykes, under the supervision of RBP mechanics. Enjoy refreshments and the company of other service-minded people. No experience needed to volunteer—this is a great learning opportunity!
